Dr. Lotte Sjulin DDS, MS MPH
Dr. Lotte Sjulin joins our team as a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist who combines her extensive academic background with a genuine passion for children’s dental health. Dr. Sjulin graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earning her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Health. While attending the University, she excelled on the field as a team captain for the Husker softball team and in the classroom. She was named Academic All-Big Ten and received the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award.
She continued her education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery in May 2022. During her dental education, Dr. Sjulin was elected class president each year, demonstrating her peers’ trust in her leadership and communication skills. Her commitment to her field was further recognized when she was selected as Chief Resident at Nationwide Children’s Hospital/ The Ohio State University, where she played a crucial role in shaping policies and improving patient care. She completed her Master of Science and Master of Public Health at Ohio State University in June 2024.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sjulin has a variety of personal interests that keep her balanced and energized. She has a lifelong love of sports, not just as a former athlete but also as an enthusiastic fan. When she’s not cheering on her favorite teams, she enjoys tending to her collection of plants, and digging into a good book. Dr. Sjulin loves exploring her new neighborhood’s parks, recreation leagues, and restaurants. She is always on the lookout for new and exciting experiences with friends.
Dr. Sjulin’s approach to pediatric dentistry is rooted in her belief that every child deserves a positive and fun dental experience. She strives to create a welcoming and friendly environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. Her clinical skills are complemented by her community involvement, including volunteering at local schools, children’s museums, and various community events.
With a combination of academic excellence, leadership, and a heart for service, Dr. Lotte Sjulin is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of her young patients at Foothills Pediatric Dentistry, ensuring they achieve healthy and happy smiles for a lifetime.
