Dr. Marie Shidler D.D.S.
Dr. Marie Shidler, DDS was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. She discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry early on, inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on her youngest patients.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After serving several years in the U.S. Air Force as a general dentist.
Dr. Shidler chose to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental residency at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, which included rotations at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
Dr. Shidler loves treating children from 6 months through adolescence, working to establish a dental home that grows with each patient. She creates a fun, positive, and welcoming environment where children feel safe and heard, explaining procedures in kid-friendly language, providing gentle reassurance, and involving parents as part of the team. Her goal is to turn potentially intimidating visits into experiences that build confidence and encourage lifelong healthy habits.
